Abstract

The sensitivity to change in the numerical value of a given parameter in quantitative modelling of transport processes is assessed for a variety of hypothetical cross-sections. It is demonstrated that ground-water-flow systems could be responsible for conditions favourable to ore formation at ground-water discharge areas near the edge of a sedimentary basin.
