Abstract

Oospores were formed occasionally in leaves and abundantly in stems after inoculation with isolates of opposite mating type. The ability of paired isolates to form oospores in host tissues varied among combinations of isolates. Oospores formed at 15 and 20øC but not at 10 or 25ø.
