Abstract

Plant based vaccines are the futuristic approach for the painless and tasteful consumption of fruits to not only get nourished but also to get the immunity against a specific pathogen. Being an advanced product of recombinant DNA technology and genetic engineering, the plant-based vaccines provide a bright future against fight with new diseases. This chapter describes about the various plant based vaccines developing for bacterial, viral, parasitic, allergenic antigens infections in human beings and animals.
