Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing the way libraries and Information Centres handle and share information. This research looks at how AI can align with Ranganathan's Five laws of Library Science that transform library functions, user experiences, and research efficiency. It focuses on various AI tools like machine learning, natural language processing, and data analysis that are making libraries smarter, more efficient, and easier to use. AI often uses neural networks that mimic the way the human brain works. These networks have artificial neurons that work together to process information and make decisions, similar to how real neurons operate. Essentially, neural networks are a type of machine learning technology within the broader AI field.
