Synthesis and properties of hexa(4-tert-butylphenoxy) substituted trithiadodecaaza[30]hexaphyrin and its metal complexes

Abstract

A new hexa(4-tert-butylphenoxy) substitutedtrithiadodecaaza[30]hexaphyrin was obtained by reaction of 4,5-bis(4- tert-butylphenoxy)phthalonitrile and 2,5-diamino-1,3,4-thiadiazole in ethylene glycol, as well as its NiII, CuII, CoII, ZnII 3:1 metallocomplexes were synthesized. All the compounds were characterized by UV-Vis, IR, 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and elemental analysis.
