The author, after offering a short account of the vorks and life of St. Ignatius of Loyola, studies the pedagogical elements of the same and their influence not only on his works but also on those ot the first members of the Company of Jesus. His Spiritual Exercises and his Letters sohw the most important features of the Jesuit activity both of the teachers and of their methods.
