Abstract

An overview is given on theory and accompanying ab initio wave-packet simulations of resonant photoemission of fixed in space and randomly oriented homonuclear diatomic molecules. The theory clearly demonstrates the strict parity selection rules in the region of dissipation. The measurement clearly indicates a distortion or antisymmetrization of atomic peaks.
