Abstract

The author discusses teaching basic computer skills and Internet use to senior citizens at the Osher Lifelong Learning Insitute (OLLI) at the University of Georgia. She acknowledges the fact that most senior people are intimidated with the use of a computer. She describes some difficulties encountered by her senior students particularly with the difference between the address bar and a search box. She also mentioned some of the tasks she has given in order to familiarize them with Internet use.
