Abstract

Hospital lighting encompasses as many different techniques as there are areas in the hospital. Each area has a separate function with different seeing requirements and should have a lighting system specifically designed to aid the hospital staff in the performance of the individual functions. Many techniques can provide proper lighting in the various hospital areas. In this paper the author presents the options, considerations, and what the end results should be.
