IKONOGRAFI ARSITEKTUR PADA MASJID JAMI’ NURUL MU’MININ KOTA MAKASSAR

Abstract

Jamie' Nurul Mu'minin Mosque is a 316 years old mosque which is one of the three mosque inherited from the Kingdom of Gowa which was built around 17th century which directly influenced the development of architecture in the era.The purpose of this study was to find out the magnitude of the influence of history on the meaning each architectural element visualized on this building. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with an art history approach.Data collection is done by visiting, documentation and studyof literature.
