Abstract
In this study, rubber magnetic composites were prepared by incorporation of strontium ferrite into non-polar and polar rubber matrices. The aim was to investigate the influence of magnetic filler content on the cross-linking and properties of the tested materials. The results demonstrate that the presence of strontium ferrite in rubber matrices leads to a significant increase in the magnetic characteristics of composites. The physical properties of the tested systems seem to be less dependent on magnetic filler content although the improvement of evaluated characteristics with increasing content of ferrite was achieved.
