Abstract

In this study, we focus on multi-objective resources allocation for OFDM-based cognitive radio system considering the mutual interference. The mutual interference between primary user and secondary user is neglected by most research works in cognitive radio systems. To achieve the allocation, we use Genetic Algorithm (GA) with fitness function. The fitness function is a weighted sum of multiple objectives which can represent the Quality of Service (QoS) requirements of user. Experiment results show that the proposed multi-objective allocation method considering mutual interference based on GA successfully meets the user's QoS requirement. © 2010 Asian Network for Scientific Information.
