Distribution extension of Ametrida centurio Gray, 1847 (Chiroptera, Phyllostomidae): First record in the Brazilian Atlantic Forest

Abstract

This study reports the first record of Ametrida centurio in the Atlantic Forest, including its occurrence in the state of Paraíba, which extends the known distribution for this species ca. 1,500 km from its easternmost locality. The record was made in the Guaribas Biological Reserve, state of Paraíba, northeastern Brazil.
