Abstract

We propose and demonstrate a compact high pressure FBG sensor using a single attached point in a fiber ferrule developed to measure pressure in internal combustion chamber of a thermoelectric plant engine. The sensor can measure pressures at least 300 bar and it was tested in laboratorial and in a real thermoelectric plant engine.
