Abstract
Rojolele srinuk rice is a local variety from Klaten Regency developed by the agricultural office, local farmers, and the Indonesia Nuclear Technology Agency in Yogyakarta through gamma ray irradiation 200 gy dose. In order to maintain price stability and purity, the local government issued a policy related to the planting of rojolele srinuk rice only in Klaten Regency. In the period 2022-2023, the planting area of rojolele srinuk rice has decreased from 760 hectares to 723 hectares. This condition encourages this research to analyze the role of stakeholders for supporting the sustainability of rojolele srinuk rice farming. This study uses a stakeholder mapping approach. The results of the study show that the role of stakeholders, the government as regulator (high power - high interest), farmers as cultivation actors (high power - high interest), business as marketing agent (low power - high interest), mass media as branding actors (low power - high interest), and academics as researcher (low power - high interest) are needed for efforts to increase the planting area and production of rojolele srinuk rice in Klaten Regency. The findings in this study can provide recommendations on the sustainability of rojolele srinuk rice cultivation in the future.
