Abstract

Neutron diffraction measurements of transition metal-oxide-doped sodium metaphosphate glasses and melts show an anomalous increase of the first sharp diffraction peak both with increasing transition metal content and temperature due to progressive increase of the structural disorder. © 2004 Elsevier B.V.
