Bosch pilots active parking management system.

Abstract

The article describes the active parking lot management system piloted by Bosch in collaboration with Verbrand Region Stuttgart. Topics covered include the program using Bosch sensors in park and ride facilities along commuter lines of S3 (Baknang) and S2 (Schorndorf) to identify parking spaces that are not occupied in real time to be available in the Tariff Association Stuttgart application and website. Also cited are goals to make parking spaces a part of the internet of things (IOT).
