Abstract
A review is presented of the state of the art in wind turbine rotor aerodynamics. Both thèengineering methods', used in aeroelastic computer programmes, and more funda-mental Euler and Navier Stokes are described and reviewed and problem areas in urgent need of a solution are addressed. An attempt is made to minimise the use of equations in the main text, to access a wider public. The basic equation systems are treated separately in an Appendix. *
