Abstract

Two closely related uniformly pale green feeding on willow species of Macropsis from Central Tuva (Southern Siberia), M. tuvensis Vilbaste, 1982 and M. microcera Vilbaste, 1982, are redescribed and figured. New records of M. tuvensis from eastern Kazakhstan and western Mongolia are given. The specimens from Tuva were collected on Salix viminalis. M. microcera was found to be widespread in western Siberia and in the European part of Russia, where it feeds on S. viminalis and probably on related S. dasyclados. The following new synonymies are proposed: M. megerlei Fieber, 1868 - M. venusta Emeljanov, 1968, syn. n., M. pictipes Horvath, 1904 - M. grossa Dubovskv, 1966, syn. n., M. sibirica Kusnezov, 1929 - M. obscurinervis Vilbaste, 1965, syn. n. M. castanicolor Diabola, 1958 is redescribed and figured.
