TGS Albuquerque


Tuknik Government Services is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to work

with our Federal client in the Albuquerque, NM area. This is a direct,

full-time position supporting TGS and our government client.

This position will be part of a team supporting a Federal client in

managing a large-scale financial system conversion/integration

project, by providing project management, change management and

technical advisory services.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are

not limited to:

* Support management and leadership in providing data analysis on

key projects

* Assess various alternative data management methodologies that are

being utilized/proposed; assess tools and approaches for data


* Validate strategies and plans for data integration/conversion of

multiple systems/subsystems

* Coordinate with internal and external teams to assess risks and

goals in order to ensure that all requirements are adequately


* Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, finance,

accounting, or similar discipline

* Previous experience with diverse IT projects, both large and small

* Proficient in full systems development life cycle, strategic

information planning, business process reengineering, and

management practices

* Must be able to identify and mitigate risks to the project

* Able to work well within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

* Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Experience with Federal consulting or implementation of financial

systems preferred.

The Senior Data Analyst will have experience with data in various

forms within an accounting and investment system and will possess the

ability to support the development of overarching strategies/design

for data, along with experience creating data management processes and

detailed documentation.

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

* 10-15 years of data analysis work experience

* 5-10 years' supporting accounting/financial data analysis.

Working Environment & Conditions

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office

position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The

incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to manipulate,

handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and

arms; talk and hear. The work load may require the incumbent to sit

for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read,

perform simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of

stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move items that

weigh up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required for the job

include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception,

and the ability to adjust focus.
