You will be responsible for leading, developing and contributing to teaching of public health to dental undergraduates in the School of Dentistry (Institute of Clinical Sciences (ICS); and also contributing to applied public health research in the Departments of Health Services Research (Institute of Population Health Sciences Institute name yet to be formally approved by the university).

This post is a permanent position, open to clinical or non-clinical applicants, with appointment made to Lecturer/Senior Lecturer depending on qualifications and experience. The post is open to people with a general public health background as well as those with experience in dental public health although an interest in dental public health is essential. While the post is available as full-time, part-time or job-share applicants will be considered. This should be stated in the application.

The post is fully funded by the university, although an Honorary Consultant contract with Public Health England (PHE) may be awarded for suitably qualified appointees at Senior Lecturer level.
