What You Will Be Doing
- Design formulation for sterile products for peptide and other drugs for injectable and ophthalmic forms of administration
- Oversee external vendors (CROs, CMOs, etc.) regardings pre-clinical and clinical formulation development
- Physical and chemical characterization to evaluate physicochemical characteristics
- Assist with writing and reviewing CMC reports surrounding pharmaceutical development

Reports to: Director of Pharmaceutical Development
Travel: ~25% estimated
What You Need for this Position
- BS or MS with at least 5 years of industry experience with parenteral products
...or a PhD with at least 3 years of industry experience with parenteral products

- Hands-on experience in parenteral formulation development-
- Clinical formulation development
- Physical and chemical characterization of proteins and/or peptides
- Proven leadership experience
- Coordination of CMOs and external vendors

-Such as drug-device combination products, including pre-filled syringes, liquid injectables, autoinjectors etc.
