An excellent opportunity has risen for an experienced Formulation Scientist seeking to join a leading biopharmaceutical research laboratory! As a Formulation Scientist, you will be performing daily analysis, enabling non-clinical and clinical studies and supporting the laboratory activities which will include set-up, general operation and handling of technical resources. You will also assist in formulation development using a variety of techniques including buffer exchange and analytical instrumentation such as HPLC /UHPLC, UV spectroscopy, rheology, SDS-PAGE and ELISA (among others). In addition to hands-on responsibilities, you will be assisting in preparing data for use in formulation protocols, reports and supporting documentation, based on an understanding of biochemical or physical degradation routes of antibody/protein derived molecules. The laboratory contains state-of-the-art equipment and facilities and is highly regarded in the industry so this would be a fantastic opportunity to either start or continue an exciting research career. Applications are invited from candidates possessing a relevant degree in Life Science (Biotechnology, Biochemistry or equivalent) with at least 2 years' industry lab experience; ideally working in formulation or analytical development of proteins/antibodies derived molecules. Any experience of working with stability studies and/or GMP environment would also be highly desirable although not essential. The successful candidate will have excellent organisation skills, good written and oral communication skills and the ability to manage your own time.
