My client is a leading manufacturer of personal care, cosmetics and pharmaceutical products. Offering a full service from product concept through to production. Role responsibilities: -To manage specific sales accounts, increasing turnover and profitability through promotions, range extension and development of new products initiative. -To conduct effective customer and supplier reviews on a regular basis to ensure KPI`s are met. This includes delivery performance, quality management, customer service levels and innovations. -To manage and analyse customer commercials, such as analysis of sales performance and trends. To provide forecasts, monitor stock commitment and liability, and price and margin maintenance. -To regularly report and review with customers their liability for chemicals and packaging materials. Ensuring that customer’s agreements on liability are adhered to at all times. -To regularly review and carry out research into competitors, consumer attitudes, market activity and new initiatives (ingredients and packaging). To interpret how this information can be taken forward to new business opportunities. -To present new ideas, products, recommend and implement promotional activities in line with customer account objectives, as well as new accounts. -Actively seek out new business opportunities within existing and new customers covering the pharmaceutical and toiletry sectors. -To assist where necessary in the general commercial and marketing activities. -Use of PC in preparation of presentations, reports and critical paths. Use of syspro system with regard to stocks, prices, orders and other sales reports. -Preparation, analysis and presentation of data for the management team and customers. Regular analysis of sales data, forecasts & review of market data. -Assist in the set up and coordinates supply agreement with customers. -To prepare briefs for the development lab and pack tech to develop new products. Ideal candidate: -Experience in sales or account management for pharmaceutical/ over the counter products. -Excels at developing customer relationships. -Strong communication and organisation skills. -Passion for development. -Get up and go mentality
