Contracts Associate - Biomedical Services LOCATION: Field Based-North UK Our client is a provider of outsourced service solutions to NHS laboratories and due to significant growth they are looking for a Contracts Associate to prepare and deliver customer reviews to ensure the very highest levels of customer service and delivery are achieved. This is a highly people and data orientated position so the successful candidate will enjoy a high degree of customer interaction and will also get satisfaction from writing, delivering and analysing questionnaire data. The role would suit a degree qualified Biomedical Scientist (or closely related) or somebody who has several years pathology laboratory experience. Previous customer service and or sales experience would be highly beneficial as whilst this is not a sales position, the successful candidate will be representing the company at their clients sites and as a result must realise the importance of professionalism. They will also get the opportunity to spot sales opportunities which will be pass on to the sales team so being commercially aware is extremely important. The role will be home office based but will cover customer sites within the North UK so the successful candidate must have a full UK driver’s license and will be happy with travel. It is expected that the successful candidate will be out with customers at least 3-4 days per week with the remaining time spent working from home to prepare for customer visits and to report findings back to the Account Management and Senior Management teams. The Contract Associate will be responsible for managing their own appointments and making sure they review all customers within their territory so the successful candidate must be highly organised, enjoy detailed preparation and will always deliver on their commitments. They must be professional at all times, ensuring they arrive at clients sites on-time, in good order and well prepared. It would suit an individual who has excellent communication skills, is happy to present to customers and who is able to build strong rapport with individuals and use this to gather information on performance and areas where the company could improve or perform better. It would suit an outgoing, business minded scientist who has aspirations to develop their career in a commercial scientific career and is happy to step-away from routine lab work. Interested?
