Nanosurf is a fast-growing innovator in the nanotechnology market. We develop, manufacture and market state-of-the-art scanning probe microscopes for imaging and manipulation of surfaces at the nanometer range. We work at the limit of what is physically possible and develop all the mechanical, electronic, optical and software components necessary for best-in-class instruments.

Nanosurf's Industrial Solutions team is the world-wide leading group to provide turn-key solutions for large stages in industry and academia. These stages incorporate AFM technology to measure roughness and critical dimensions in the nanometer and sub-nanometer range, mostly for quality control. For such projects, Nanosurf qualifies the AFM measurement technology, develops the stage concept, designs and builds the stage together with partners including all HW and SW aspects, and delivers stages according to customer specifications to clients.

Your tasks

• Develop technical concepts based on industry requirements as well as market analysis
• Lead the development process with internal teams and external suppliers in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Support the assembly if needed in person and conduct thorough testing of the machines including appropriate certification
• Write the necessary documentation and marketing material

Your profile

You are a mechanical engineer / robotics engineer, or a physicist with hands on AFM experience. You hold a PhD or master's degree and ideally gained first experience in product management in industry. You are familiar with different drive and control technologies as well as sensor technologies. You like to create new instruments and your solid communication skills allow you to bring together internal and external teams to realize the optimum customer benefit.
