Senior Scientist - Bioprocessing

Newton Colmore Consulting is working with a biotechnology innovator in Cambridge and is searching for a senior scientist to join their team.
The senior scientist will be charged with leading technological developments on novel solutions to several bioprocessing challenges. This can range from working on sensors for hazardous material containment, through to systems that are designed to convert food waste into high value protein for animal feed.
You will be using your experience to work on technologies from initial ideation, through to delivery and manufacture. You will take charge of the full development process and will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team, all aiming to make a step change with new ideas.

To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have an understanding of research and development projects within industrial bioprocessing. This will need to be coupled with strong academics and ideally with experience in biochemical engineering, process sensing and/or process scale-up methodologies.
