A platform for career development discussions and resources in physics, is run by Managing Publisher Dr. Carina Arasa Cid.

Carina started the initiative with young researchers (PhD/PostDoc) in mind. The purpose of the group is to share tips on how to pursue your dream career in physics, within academia or outside. Besides early career researchers, more senior researchers are also encouraged to join the group and share thoughts, experiences, and the interesting opportunities they might have come across. These will be invaluable to all of us!

Being a trained physicists, now managing a portfolio of physics journals at Elsevier, she has one foot in the industry and one still in the academic community. Having been in a similar position herself, she can relate very well to the pressure many young physicists experience while trying to decide on their next career move.

Join the Young Physicists – Career Development group here and start sharing your thoughts, experiences and career opportunities!
